Welcome to the Feywild!

Wild Beyond the Witchlight is a Dungeons & Dragons 5e adventure that whisks us away to the Feywild, a place of wonder and whimsy beset by dark forces. Join a band of unlikely heroes as you navigate hidden secrets, ancient pacts, and surreal landscapes to uncover the mystery at the heart of this wondrous land before it unravels forever.

This will be a twice monthly in-person campaign, played in 4 hours sessions somewhere in SE Albuquerque. All levels of experience are welcome! This game is specifically for LGBTQIA+ players and allies — my goal is to create a comfortable, affirming space where everyone can relax and have fun. I have room for several more players, so please read on if this sounds like a good fit!

About the Campaign

Where We Begin
Once every sixteen years the fantastic Witchlight Carnival touches down on your world, bringing joy to one settlement after the next. Its owners, Mister Witch and Mister Light, know how to put on a good show. But there’s more to this magical extravaganza than meets the eye!
The carnival is a gateway to a fantastic Feywild domain unlike anything found on the Material Plane. Time has not been kind to this realm, however, and the dark days lie ahead unless someone can thwart the dastardly schemes of the Hourglass Coven. How You Fit In
You were but a child, or a child in heart and mind, when you last visited the wondrous Witchlight Carnival. You dreamed of the rides, the attractions, and the food, but your heart sank when you realized you could not afford the ticket.
Fortune favored you, however, and you made your way into the carnival regardless, giving you a day of delight that lifts your heart to this day. Yet when you returned from this wonderous day at the carnival, you did not return whole. Something was taken from you. Something you have missed every day of your life.As the years went by, you met others like yourself, others who had lost something important at their own visit to the Witchlight Carnival. Like you, they have not been whole since. Now, sixteen years later, you and your companions return to the Witchlight Carnival with the chance to recover what you lost and just maybe save the Feywild in the process.Vibes & Inspiration

Who's running this thing, anyway?

Hi, I'm Megan (she/her)! I have been playing D&D off and on for about 5 years, with 3 years as a player in an on-going campaign. I've DM'd multiple one-shots and mini-campaigns, but this is my first full-length campaign! I'm excited! When I'm not doing silly voices and rolling dice, I love knitting and crocheting, playing all the games I missed on Gameboy Advance (currently that is Minish Cap and Pokemon Emerald), and willing things not to die in the garden. My favorite die is an oversized purple d20 I got with the D&D-themed Magic: The Gathering Set.

More Info & Application

If you are interested in joining this campaign, please fill out the application form linked below. Part of my job as DM is to put together a group with a good mix of play styles, experience, and goals that can play together for months or even years!

By sharing more about yourself, I can see if you are a good fit for the campaign. I promise it's not a popularity contest and there's no strictly right or wrong answers.

As noted above, this campaign is meant for LGBTQIA+ folks and allies/accomplices. Not the right campaign for you? No hard feelings! The New Mexico Gamers Society Discord "Looking for Group" channel is a great place to post as a player or you can look for a post from a DM. Ettin Games often has tables people can join. There are also sometimes posts on Reddit r/Albuquerque and r/505nerds for open games. And don't forget--you can always DM :) It's fun!
